Fall Semester: Week Twelve Reflection
This week has honestly been a little bit hectic, but I think I have managed it pretty well. I have had a lot going on in my personal life recently that has made it a little hard for me to focus on school, but I am managing. I have a to-do list that seems a million miles long, but I am slowly making my way through it and getting things done. I have had a LOT of course work that I have had to do/catch up on this week, and so it has been a little bit stressful. But, this week I did have some positive things that happened for me. I got to take a physics exam, and I honestly feel like I did decent on it, which is a little odd for me. I REALLY struggle with math, so physics tends to not be my strongest subject, but this time around I feel like I am actually understanding a bit of the material. So, I'm hoping I don't just have some false confidence, and that I actually did well on the exam. I also had a one-on-one meeting with Chris on Friday, and it was nice to just be able to relax and talk about things going on in my life, in the ambassador program, and other things. I feel like in this virtual world, it is easy to lose contact with people, so it is nice to be able to just chat for awhile. I am hoping that in the next week, I can start my second/final round of one-on-ones with my mentees, and hopefully they will schedule with me pretty quickly. I am also hoping that in the next week-ish, I can get completely caught up on classwork and maybe work ahead and have some free time next weekend.
